Idowu Abimbola Adegoke

Adegoke, Idowu Abimbola, is a forester by profession spanning from his bachelor's degree to Ph.D. level.

He had his bachelor's degree in Forestry and Wood Technology, from the Federal University of Technology Akure (2007), Msc. and Ph.D.  in Forest Resources Management (Wood and Fibre Science Option) from the University of Ibadan(2011) and (2017) respectively.

He started his professional career in year (2009) as a Research Officer with the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria with his focus on wood waste utilization and bio-energy development. Rose to the position of Principal Research Officer before he joined Federal University Gashua as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Forestry and Wildlife Management where he served as the Acting Head of Department.

He is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Forestry, College of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, Fiji National University, Fiji Island.

He had over forty (40) research publications in both refereed journals and conference presentations.
